The PGDAS focuses on applied techniques of small ruminant production and management, Beef and Dairy cattle production, Animal products processing, Pasture & range management, and Poultry production. The Department also in collaboration with the Centre for Dryland Agriculture of this University anchor full-time programme leading to the award of PGD, M.Sc., and Ph.D degrees in Livestock Production and Range Management in African Drylands.
